Every organisation has interesting stories to tell.
I’m here to help you tell them.
I began my communications career as a journalist in Sussex, England. Since then, I’ve worked as a media officer, a website editor and a mentor to citizen journalists from across the world.
As a freelance writer and editor, I’ve worked with some incredible organisations, including albert, AVERT, BAFTA, Be in the KNOW, Bond, Frontline AIDS, Harm Reduction International, Rutgers International, Small World Stories, Sightsavers, UNICEF and UNIDO.
What clients say

“Hester has delivered many communications projects for Frontline AIDS – from editing clear and engaging technical briefs, to interviewing human rights defenders for online features. Her work is excellent and is always delivered on time and within budget.”
Katya Mira, Head of Media, Sightsavers
“I would highly recommend Hester to anyone needing freelance support for their communications work. She is fast, efficient and versatile, knows how to pitch a good story and, most importantly, is a great writer.”
